WeaveTime is a hands-on weaving workshop organized by The Liberties Weavers in Dublin. This two-hour session introduces participants to the basics of weaving, allowing them to create their own handwoven bookmarks using a card loom. The workshop is designed for beginners and provides all necessary materials, making it an accessible and engaging experience for anyone interested in textile arts.
WeaveTime also highlights the rich weaving heritage of the Liberties, a historic area in Dublin known for its textile industry. In some sessions, participants are taken on a short walking tour to explore this cultural background.

Held at various venues such as Pallas Projects/Studios, WeaveTime has welcomed a diverse range of participants, including students from Champlain College and members of the local community. The event aims to revive interest in traditional weaving techniques while fostering creativity and social connection.
We have a variety of different WeaveTimes ranging from one hour long which suits bigger groups.
We have a 2 hour workshop which suits groups up to 15 people.
There is also a variety of items to create, ranging from bookmarks, greeting cards, Christmas decorations to friendship braclets.
